Information Literacy

Students did a great job finishing up their word processing activities this week. After working with professional communications and business letters, we evaluated some Microsoft Word 2013 tutorials. We finished with a Cloud Computing activity where students collaboratively put together newsletters that evaluated technologies using Google Drive.

 Next week we will learn about information literacy and digital citizenship. We will talk about online google search techniques, cyber-bullying, online safety, digital footprint, and social media. When we are finished with our learning, students will put together a project that allows them to demonstrate their learning from all the different areas listed above.
