Mail-Merge
Info Tech 2 students spent time this week learning how different Microsoft applications can interact with each other. Students created business letters, envelopes, name tags, certificates, and more that could quickly be personalized to recipients that were listed in a spreadsheet or database. Students will finish demonstrating their learning by creating video tutorials showing how to use mail merge, then we will move on to desktop publishing.

Week 5: Database Assessment then PowerPoint
This week we will be finishing up with our database section. Students will create a full working database that includes tables, forms, reports, and queries. Once students complete their database, they will create a video tutorial demonstrating the more complex skills that they have learned. We will then move on to a program that allows for us to demonstrate a little more creativity by using advanced features of PowerPoint. Mid-term grades get posted this week, and students are really doing a good job in this class!
